This paragraph should contain your mission statement. It is a short, concrete explanation, what you do, who it's for, and the change you're trying to make. Avoid jargon and aspiration-speak. A specific promise reads as more trustworthy than a grand one.
Start with the problem you solve, then the promise you make
Use this opening paragraph to name the challenge your audience faces and how your work addresses it. Keep it focused on them, not you, two or three sentences that connect their problem to your purpose. This is where a visitor decides whether to keep reading, so lead with relevance, not background.
Now tell your story briefly,
Use this section to explain how you started and why. Keep it tight: the origin story should illustrate the mission above, not wander through every milestone. A visitor wants the version that explains why you're the right people to solve their problem, not your full company timeline.
Show what you stand for with specifics
List three to five values, but make each one concrete. Pair every value with a sentence showing how it actually shows up in your work. "We value transparency" means nothing; "We share our pricing and our mistakes publicly" proves it. If a value could belong to any company, cut it.

"I came to Luma completely sceptical. I'd tried everything — the supplements, the sleep trackers, the expensive mattress. Nothing stuck because none of it addressed the real problem. Luma was the first brand that felt like it actually understood what I was going through. Three months later I sleep differently, think differently, and honestly feel like a different person. I don't say that lightly."
